Whole books and ministries are dedicated to the subject. So, how would you answer? The Apostle Paul answers both questions with one simple word.

[This world is a broken place] “Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.” Hebrews 13:15 The Bible is full of incredible miracles that often took place during dark moments. And the darker the moment, the greater the miracle. Great moments and great miracles follow those who put their trust in God.
Ask yourself, “How is my definition and priority of worship different from God’s definition and priority of worship?” Jesus said, “True worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in Truth.” What exactly does that mean? How pleasing to God is my worship now?
Empty works, no matter how diligent, will not result in a thriving relationship with Jesus. A thriving relationship with Jesus is the result of the narrow way, and a focus on one’s own faults. The church is a collection of individual relationships with Jesus, joined together in unity.
As every good parent delights in the growth of his child, so God delights in your growth. Growth, however, occurs in the rich soils of relationship. Who is God using to cause growth in you?
We can have a great church, awesome worship, incredible teaching, loving people and powerful ministry, but if we neglect intimacy with Jesus, we won’t last.
