The God Who Cares

An Honorable Vessel
“In a great house are not only vessels of gold and silver, but of wood and clay, some for honor and dishonor. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master.” 2 Timothy 2:20-21
Read that verse again. Paul’s metaphor suggests both “honorable and dishonorable” people exists in His house. And a vessel of honor is, “sanctified and useful for the Master.” I think we all want that. So, what distinguishes an honorable vessel from a dishonorable one? Let’s explore that question together this Sunday.

is God’s plan for my life?” And second, “How am I to walk in it?” Let’s discover some
straight-forward answers from the Scripture.
Covenant of Goodness - Vision Sunday
Two brothers in Christ stroll through a wooded area together, and one looks around and says, “God is good.” The other answers, “All the time.” Then, in harmony they respond, “And all the time, God is good.” So true! God displays His goodness everywhere. Come to our Vision Sunday, and let’s muse together on God’s “Covenant of Goodness” for 2025-2026.
