ROCK N WATER - Realizing God through Adventures in His Creation

Our youth group had the awesome privilege to go on a backpacking trip in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. We spent 4 days hiking and exploring in the high country just West of South Lake Tahoe. We hiked through beautiful river canyons, jumped off of rocks into deep alpine lakes, went down natural water slides, rock climbed  and even overcome fears by rappelling down a 90 foot cliff. We ended the week with an epic day of white water rafting.
We got to explore God’s playground, and challenge ourselves to grow in Christian faith and leadership skills. Quiet times, campfire devotionals and outdoor challenges drew us closer to the Lord. We bonded as a group as we heard His voice, saw His majesty in creation and depended on Him during difficult times. It was a life-changing week that will have an impact on all our youth for many years to come.
