This past Saturday, the women of Heritage came together for the annual Spring Gathering. This year was themed “Closeness to Jesus,” based on John 15:5, “ I am the Vine— you are the branches.” Bethany Osborne brought us a time of sweet worship. We were encouraged to stay close to Jesus in the difficult times by praying and personalizing God’s Word over ourselves and loved ones.

We were then blessed with a special message of encouragement on what staying close to Jesus looks like. Our dear Bethany Thomas had no choice but to cling to Jesus as she went through a time of brokenness in her life. She was able to overcome that hard time by the love of Jesus and through many friends and family who surrounded her with acceptance and hope. She now looks back on those years with God’s joy and peace and not anger or regret! May we all receive that message!  

The meal and the decorations were spectacular!! Thank you to all who make this annual event such a success!
