Twice a month Heritage holds services in the Orange County Jail, specifically, the Women's Main Jail and also Theo Lacy Men's jail. All team members must go through a background-clearance check in order to be admitted, but then are permitted to share Christ without restrictions.
Salvations and Commitment
With most every service, inmates make heart-felt commitments to Christ, often with tears and the touch of new hope.
Through preaching, testimonies and worship, inmates receive instruction and inspiration to follow Jesus.
Once They Leave Jail
Several members of our congregation are former inmates. We are privileged to watch God restore lives, families and future hope.
Twice a month our jail team leads a church service for the inmates at the Orange County Jail. It is a privelege to take the hope that gospel of Jesus Christ gives to these men and women.
In addition to the church services, there is a Women's Prison Ministry team that has developed friendships of encouragement through letter writing to women inmates in Chino and Chowchilla.
Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering. Hebrews 13:3
